Sarathkumar injured, Radhika rushes

Sarathkumar is currently busy shooting for a film titled '1977'. This film commenced its shooting at Malaysia first, shifted to Kovilpatti and then a few scenes were shot at Chennai too. As the film is in its final stages of completion, the crew was at Malaysia recently to film a few more sequences there.

As a part of an action scene, Sarath and Namitha were running from baddies who were chasing them and the scene involved the villain group throwing a heavy wooden club on Sarath. Although the stunt master recommended a body double for Sarath, the latter did not agree for the same and got ready for the action mode with a lot of bravery. But unfortunately, the heavy club landed on Sarath’s leg, hurting him deeply with a loss of lots of blood. The actor was immediately hospitalized where timely treatment was given.
