Nayan started her career in Tamil by acting for Swamy pairing with Sarath Kumar. Before the shooting of the movie she visited Nellai Swamiyappar temple and prayed there.
She does not visit Swamyappar after that, but after the shooting of Sathyam which took place in Thenkasi, visited the temple again.
Actually she planned to go to her native straight from Thenkasi, but her god fearing nature brought her to Nellai temple.
Close associates of her says that she prayed to the Lord to make her remain in the No. 1 position and help her to get ride of bad ghosts like Trisha, Shriya and other new commers.
