The ever so elusive Shruthi Haasan, daughter of actor Kamal Haasan, who gave many an acting offer amiss, had finally conceded to act opposite Madhavan. This project to be directed by Nishikanth Kamath of Evano Oruvan fame and is all set to kick off soon.

The photo session of this untitled film is all set to commence in Chennai. The director had initially planned to shoot a major portion of the film in New Zealand but is now said to prefer UK. Sources indicate that the UK has come with attractive offers for shooting crew from India and is now a more economical option compared with New Zealand. This should enlighten all those who thought locations were decided upon by the script.
