Richard hides his Christian identity

Baby faced 'Kadhal Virus Richard' feels, the name Richard identifies him as a very soft man and hence the change in his name. Here in after he wants to be called as Rishi (Its not sure how Rishi will be violent!)

Kadhal Virus Richard, who has rechristened himself as Rishi, now plays a cop in a movie titled Thamizhagam. Perhaps with the change of name, he is also attempting a change of image.

Directed by debutant Suresh Kumar, Thamizhagam has musical score by Asif Ali, son of Prince of Arcot Nawab Muhammad Abdul Ali.

Stunt director Rocky Rajesh, who has choreographed the action sequences for Vijayakanth and Vijay films, makes his debut as an actor in this movie.

Thamizhagam is expected to be a cocktail of emotions, humour and sentiments. ‘We shot a stunt sequence in the busy roads of Poonamallee. It would be the major highlight of the movie’, says Suresh Kumar.

The cast includes Archana, Karunaas, Devan, Malaysia Vasudevan, Kalairani and Ajay.

The other credits are Pawan Shankar (cinematography), Pa Vijay, Muthu Vijayan, Snehan (lyrics) and B S Vasu - Saleem (editing).
