DON'T STOP PAYING FOR OVERTIME, CUEPACS URGES GOVT

KUALA TERENGGANU, March 3 (Bernama) -- Cuepacs today urged the government not to stop paying extra to low-ranking civil servants who were ordered to work overtime.
Cuepacs president Omar Osman said the union had received complaints that about 80,000 public employees were not paid for doing work overtime but were given rest days instead.
"Cuepacs totally disagrees when the staff were ordered to work overtime but were not paid rewards and given rest days instead. It is a worker's right, when he works overtime he has to be paid.
"If they don't want to pay, never mind. Let the public servants work eight hours and after that they can work elsewhere to support their own requirements," he told reporters after a briefing at the Terangganu Road Transport Department office here.
Meanwhile, Omar said that under the mini budget to be tabled by the government, Cuepacs hoped about 2,000 contract employees would have their service extended.
He also hoped the government would raise the cost of living allowance for federal government employees in Terengganu from RM200 to RM300 like what was enjoyed by the state employees now.

pay them overtime so that they can ular during office hours.

they will have more works to do then. if they didnt get pay for overtime... you cannot c anyone after office hours.

8.00am => masuk kerja
8.10am-8.45am => Makan sarapan pagi pertama. bungkus dari rumah
10.00am-10.45am => Makan sarapan in office. Goverment sponsor.
12.30pm-2.00pm => Lunch (Sdn. Bhd.) ps : half of them balik rumah.
3.30pm-4.30pm => Tea Time courtesy of some stupid company and our tax la.
4.45pm-5.00pm => Pack your bags
5.01pm => move your ass. Sayonara boss. Get lost office. until besok!!!
8.10am-8.45am => Makan sarapan pagi pertama. bungkus dari rumah

well me 9 and half years with japanese company . so it will take more than this donkey to change me the other way around.
