"Ganja" Karuppu and the rising pay packet!

Ganja" Karuppu has carved a niche for himself in the Tamil film industry with his exemplary comedy tracks. Having established himself as a reputable comedian, as like other comedians, he also traversed to don the role of a hero. His forthcoming venture in which he plays the lead role is Arai En 305-il Kadavul.

But the actor expects that his role in Subramaniapuram will be much-talked about for times to come. This film is produced and directed by debutant Sasi Kumar. The most interesting aspect of Subramaniapuram is that Karuppu dons two getups. Interestingly, in one of the roles he appears as an old man. To make the garb look real, a make-up artiste has been specially brought down from Mumbai. The reason for taking so much pain is that, according to sources, Karuppu's role brings the turning point in the story. The actor expects this film could prove to be a landmark in his career.
