Frankly i don't mind giving of the "Datuk"ship to an artist but why should give it to a bollywood guy? Why not a local airtist?

Obviously this was done by the "Nattan"wood for their crazy of the Bollywood stars. This shows the level of idiocracy aka mangkuk bin ayun.

Decade ago, a Malaysian team of climbers managed to conquer the top of Mount Everest. The team members were not giving any form of state awards or such. Later, a guy made a big hoohaa in wanting to sail around the world with his million dollar boat. He failed his mission half way. He got a Datukship.
Years ago, a guy swam across the English Channel and came back home with a rousing hero’s welcome. He got himself a datukship. While world papers highlighted the case of other people who swam across the channel multiple times.
In 1998, during the Commonwealth games, one Malaysian athlete named Saravanan took the pain , and later pride, to win himself, and the nation, a gold medal. Later, he was abondoned by the Government of Malaysia, who promised to give cash incentives and a car. Other atheletes got it, he did not. A local Tamil daily ran their own donation drive to get him a Perdana car.
When Alex Young got a chance to do his F1 race, the Malaysian government couldn’t find even RM 1 Million to sponsor him. Karam Singh the racer untill now is left with his torn jacket. Both are still datuk-less.
One guy went to space as a tourist, he got himself a datukship.
I can go on and on about cases of people sacrificing for the country, and was forgotten. But hey, lets look at the guy who made millions of Malaysians happy and entertained. So some wise guys in the Melaka state government were so mesmerized with his doing a belly dancing with the sexy Bollywood girls that they decided to give him a Datuk.
Next in line is Mel Gibson , Jessica Alba, Jackie Chan for being a good action fighter, Jet Li, and ooh yeah, Rajinikanth for his super duper Sivaji, Vijay and Trisha for Kuruvi’s shots in Malaysia, Kamalhassan for promoting MAS and yes, Vijaykanth for capturing bullet! Malaysia Boleh.
Anyway, congratulations Datuk Shah Rukh Khan
